There were large periods during the game when, if all you had was the commentator, you wouldn't have known who Man Utd were playing against. I know we laugh about it, but this 'behaviour' is rampant in so many aspects of this country's existence now, and you wonder what we will have to do to get sanity back, in the face of so many millions of brainwashed morons...

The words that spring to mind from my view of the game are WORK RATE - we all worked so very hard, even Haller was 'running for the bus' when we lost possession. You felt a real unity in the team which was good to see. Rice was phenomenal and I hope and pray we can keep him for at least a season of two, he has married up with Soucek superbly.

Sad to see (but pleased they found it necessary) that Utd lost the plot in the second half and started to take players out with little or no intervention from the officials. Fernandes should have gone, if we had made a move like he did on Nobes we'd be down to 10 men dead quick, but aside from that he was one of several who took to stamping, kicking and (their new 'invention') stepping back 'inadvertently' into players Achilles etc. Some of the challenges on Bowen were particularly x-rated, yet a blind eye was turned...

We need players who will rise to the challenge when these top sides get arsey - that tends not to include the South American / wine culture players. And there you have your 'sell' list...

What was the Noble / Del Piero comparison about?

Our midfield pair RICE and SOUCECK dominated their midfield in the 2nd half.

We kept our solid shape and didn’t get bullied. The best part for me was Neville saying something about expecting Man United to go on after their goal and win, but reluctantly admitting it was West Ham that had got on top, and we stayed on top through to the end.

Fuck them using Wembley as an excuse.

The ref was lenient on Matic, he must have put in half a dozen fouls either side of his booking, mainly on Bowen, and should have got a second yellow. Still, the cunt looks finished so fuck him. As does Pogba. Big name, head, salary, disappointment.

Rice had a stormer. Power, pace, composure on the ball, and superb reading of the game. I thought he was MoTM, and was superb in the final quarter of the game.

Was a pretty impressive performance. A few loose passes and final ball still lacking, but a lot of positives for sure. Seemed to get up the pitch quicker than the usual plod? Thought Fornals was good.

Beat Villa on Sunday and will go into the break with a good momentum and feel factor around the place.

Couldn’t see the game but 1-1 sounds like a great point away. Definitely we have improved since the restart.

As some have said, we had a disastrous spell which coincided with both Antonio and Fab Going out injured and leaving us ruthlessly exposed. We went from promising start to disastrous tailspin very rapidly.

We are better than that. Moyes, good signings and the injury curse relenting have saved us. With a couple more astute signings we will do far better next season.

It feels like we have found a pretty good formula now with Soucek, Rice and Noble/Fornals.

Lots of movement, each choosing times to go and times to sit. Shame it’s come right at the end of the season. Hope to god Rice is still here at the start of next.

Saw on twitter that noble has created more chances in his last 2 away games than all the other away games combined or something like that, he clearly is mire suited to the advanced position, shame its come a bit too late in his career when he should be making way to more flair players next season against most teams, would have no problems having hik in a midfield 3 against some of the tougher teams next season still though.

I was just going to say the same, White Pony!

Yet we still have the likes of Sir Alf claiming he should never start a game again!

How much did they pay for their midfield compared to us?!

Don’t know why you bother. It’s only ever grudging respect, if at all. We controlled good chunks of the game tonight but yeah you wouldn’t know it from watching that.

Noble had a great game. Compare him to Pogba who just made himself look like a proper cunt. Yet again.

Re: ⚽ Man Utd v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Against my better judgement I'm watching match of the day. First time in a long long time. Lo and behold there made it look like mancs were unbelievably dominant and completely all over us. The commentator made it sound like we were lucky and they could have taken us any time they wanted.

Cunts. Fucking hate match of the day.

Didn't even mention us in the post match chat.

Back to not watching this shit again.
